The story ended exactly how everyone connected with Sue’s Angels FC would have hoped. On a sun-blessed final day at The Reeves Sports Club, we dispatched Hillside Elite FC Blues 2-0 to complete an unthinkable feat: eighteen wins from eighteen league matches. Not a single dropped point. Not a single shared spoil. A perfect season in League Ten, the first of its kind since the league’s inception in 2021/22. When the whistle went, the significance of it all settled in properly. This wasn’t just a win. This was history.

The XI that lined up to seal it reflected the blend of consistency and depth we’ve built: Luke Munns in goal, Andrew Allen at left back, Daniel McLane and Jim El Bayati at centre half – with El Bayati wearing the captain’s armband – Dean Knight on the right, and a midfield pairing of Stewart Luwawa and Kafele Brown sitting deep. The second half saw us put the match beyond doubt when Frazier-Isaías Osunkoya doubled the lead in the 48th minute. We’ve reached a cup final, won our league by a margin that speaks to genuine superiority, and claimed promotion at a canter. We’re the highest-scoring team across the entire Southern Sunday Football League pyramid. History, records, perfection – it’s been an extraordinary debut. And now it’s done.
