Angels learn League Eight opponents as pre-season kicks off

Promotion earned, the wait is over: Sue's Angels now know exactly who stands between them and a second successive title charge. The club has been confirmed in League Eight for 2026/27, with the new campaign kicking off on Sunday 6 September.

Nine opponents await. The Angels will go head to head with Barnes Stormers, Bristol City (London) Supporters, Brockwell Violets, Haydons Park, Junction Elite, Pure Football, Three Little Birds, TSM Rovers and Tyne & Thames across the season. A step up in division, the same standard demanded, and a bigger stage for everything the club plays for.

Before a ball is kicked in anger, the groundwork begins. Pre-season training starts on Sunday 19 July at The Reeves in Hanworth, then runs every Wednesday from 22 July and every Sunday. New players are welcome at every session, so anyone who fancies pulling on the shirt should come down or drop the club a DM.

Three friendlies are already in the diary to sharpen things up, against Clapham Chiefs, Brentford Town and Galacticos Elect, with dates to be confirmed.
